Hills Dark Beer Fest Wrap Up

Our aspirations of creating one of Sydney’s best cellar door experiences came to life on Sunday the 28th of July with the first of a series of mini beer festivals put together especially for the Hills community.

The event took over our tap house and courtyard for the day with specialty brews and guest taps all skewed towards darker style ales. The event featured guided tours of our brewing facilities led by our he'd brewer Dan Shaw with support from delicious food activations specifically crafted for the event by Head chef Sharon Vella.

Live entertainment for the afternoon was one of a kind and had the room tapping and singing around the fire pit and into the night with a tasting paddles of delicious dark beer in hand.

The team here at the brewery intend on running regular events highlighting beer styles and showcasing guest brewers from around the country with the next event hitting the venue on the 17th of November titled Hills Hazey Beer Fest. If you missed the last you wont want to miss this one!

Beers from the event included single keg Australian Brewery beers The Pith Lord a 10% Black Imperial IPA, with a current 4.9 rating on untapped and a Raspberry & Chocolate dark Berliner Weise.

The event also featured the launch of Old Cattle Dog a new Australian Brewery dark ale. Guest dark beers came from Scharers Little Brewery, Yulli’s Brews and Batch Brewing.
