The Australian Brewery are excited to be starting a new movement  in the venue straight from the front taps. This new initiative is called Karma Keg and is to raise money and awareness for our Brewery’s chosen charity with all proceeds going directly towards the charity. Absolutely no profits or costs of the keg will be held by the business.

These limited release brews will be especially crafted by the brewer who identifies the next cause we will be supporting and will be a one of a kind limited edition keg much like our Brewer’s series. 

First off the rank we have our very own Billie Basset raising funds for the Black Dog Institute who is very close to her heart. The Black Dog Institute are dedicated to understanding, preventing and treating mental illness. They are about creating a world where mental illness is treated with the same level of concern, immediacy and seriousness as physical illness; where scientists work to discover the causes of illness and new treatments, and where discoveries are immediately put into practice through health services, technology and community education.

Billie who pushed for this initiative will be brewing a one of a kind Black IPA for the launch of this new movement. Inspired by her love for black forest cake and extra hoppy ale’s she has combined the two to create the ‘Black Dog’.
